We are looking for an experienced UX Designer to join our growing team in Melbourne. The UX Designer role touches on several important company departments and offers a wide range of challenging activities and responsibilities across these areas including user experience & interactions, customer research, product development and brand marketing.

Your role involves:

  • Collaborating with our front- end engineering, UI design and Mobile engineering teams on multi-faceted projects that will drive business growth and lead to great customer outcomes
  • Performing voice of customer and usability studies, research and market analysis and integrating them into product requirements to deliver a fantastic user experience
  • Working with the senior leadership, engineering and content team to set product development priorities 
  • Partnering with our Product Managers, Engineers and Data Scientists to test ideas and implement improvements to our product
  • Teaming with Customer Service to ensure that we are building products our customers love and are solving their unmet needs.

Who we’re looking for

You should be a highly skilled communicator with the ability to influence across all levels of the company and be capable of working independently and driving projects whilst collaborating closely with others. 

You’ll need to have experience designing user interfaces, large scale websites and/or mobile applications, confident in qual/quant user research methods, and have experience in a startup or tech environment.

You must be pragmatic and able to balance user and business needs with technical constraints, and be analytical and able to synthesise data from many sources to inform design direction.

You must be based in Melbourne. To be considered for this role you must be an Australian citizen, permanent resident or have full Australian working rights.
